Reading is crucial for human learning, because it is through it that we can enrich our vocabulary, obtain knowledge, and stimulate reasoning and interpretation. In this projeto, we promote reading workshops that contribute to the development of orality, interpretation and writing, as an educational action that favors the subject's integral development in the educational process, as well as reflection, imagination and creativity.

In general, the workshops are held in the after-school shift, at the headquarters of Pisada do Sertão, with a workload of 20 hours per week, distributed in the service of 8 classes formed by 15 students each class, who participate das activities organized in cycles according to age group and developmental level.
