Route of the Sun
Collective and integrative action in the Alto Sertão region of Paraíba conceived by Pisada do Sertão, in which it proposes to carry out a cultural route generating an itinerant art circuit comprising the articulation of cultural actions.

ABOUT
The Rota do Sol is a cultural route that travels through six municipalities in the upper hinterland of Paraíba with the objective of recognizing and valuing popular traditions and the identity of the Northeastern people, as a territorial development strategy.
The event is great in many ways: in terms of its impacts on culture, education and the development of the region through tourism and the appreciation of the popular traditions of the upper backlands of Paraíba, as well as the empowerment and strengthening of local culture, encouraging artistic production, entrepreneurship, enrichment in the production of knowledge and in the visibility that all this gives to Sertão.
The program includes, diversifies and creates new learning possibilities. This is reflected in the recognition and appreciation of the experiences of a people, giving new meaning to the look at the interior of the northeastern hinterland and its creative potential, in order to understand that culture can be considered the starting point for the development of this creative territory.
Rota do Sol broke the paradigms of devaluation of the knowledge and doings of the Northeast, of the suffering sertanejo, who is inhibited from portraying their reality. Showing what we have best, inspiring international artists and from north to south of the country, contributing to the cultural effervescence of the territory.

Along the way, we had opportunities exchanges, learning and experiences. In this way, the event emerges as a cultural action aimed at recognizing and valuing the identity of peoples, reaffirming popular culture as the most legitimate and spontaneous expression of a society.
Seminar on Popular Traditions
With the objective of discussing and recognizing the influences of cultural diversity present in the high sertão of Paraíba, as an articulating instrument for the construction of social, educational, cultural and community knowledge and actions. The seminar is aimed at the sertanejo community, cultural producers, masters of popular culture, teachers, students and entrepreneurs and has its programming based on themes related to the cultural identity of the city in which the event will be held.

The circle of prose and poetry is a meeting between the community, repentistas and poets, in which address different themes of life, above all, popular culture enriching knowledge for future generations in an exchange and appreciation of popular knowledge.

Artistic Training Workshops
Dance, music, lectures and cultural exchange workshops in which they promoted knowledge and appreciation of different manifestations of popular culture from different regions of the country through training and exchanges with children, adolescents and young people in formal and non-formal education spaces , mobilizing local knowledge with culture as an educational and social transformation tool.
